Until There’s
A Cure Foundation
Our Mission: The Until There's
A Cure Foundation is a national
organization dedicated to eradicating
HIV/AIDS by raising awareness and funds to
combat this pandemic.
Our Background: Twenty plus years
after the first appearance of AIDS, over
500,000 men, women and children in the
United States have battled this devastating
disease and lost. Out of concern and
commitment to their children and their
community, two California mothers joined the
war against AIDS and established the
Until There's A Cure Foundation in 1993.
As a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, the
Foundation today extends its energy,
resources and determination to our national
community so that compassion, respect and
care are the norm rather than the exception.
The Bracelet: The heart of the
Until There's A Cure Foundation is The
Bracelet. It is
the key source for funding efforts in
HIV/AIDS prevention
education/awareness,
care and services, and vaccine development.
Designed and manufactured in Italy, the
cuff-styled bracelet is ¼” wide and features
a cast of the familiar AIDS ribbon. On the
inside are two small plaques, one inscribed
with “Until There's A Cure” and the other
blank to allow individuals to personalize
it. The Bracelet is available in
silver-plated, sterling silver, sterling
silver with an 18k gold ribbon, 14k gold and
our newest addition, stainless steel. Sizes
are small, medium, large and in some cases,
extra large. We also carry our jelly
bracelets, original and jumbo, and our
sterling silver with leather cord.

Grants: In a thirteen year period,
the Foundation has made crucial steps toward
raising funds for a wide range of HIV/AIDS
related projects and agencies. Grant funds
are derived from various efforts: The
Bracelet sales, sporting events,
fund-raising
events, personal and corporate
financial contributions and partnerships
with other HIV/AIDS organizations. To date,
nearly
$9,000,000 has been granted to numerous
organizations that:
- Provide care and services for those
infected or affected with HIV/AIDS.
- Offer innovative programs which
promote HIV/AIDS awareness and
prevention education, primarily to teens
and young adults.
- Actively support vaccine development
to eradicate HIV/AIDS. UNTIL THERE'S A
CURE was the founding donor of the
International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI).
Our Dream: We dream of the
day when the number of new HIV infections
will be zero. For those who are HIV
positive, we are dedicated to educating all
people about the virus and the overwhelming
need for love and compassion for those
affected by the disease.
Retail Allies: The Foundation has
gained recognition and significantly
increased sales of The Bracelet through the
efforts of dedicated retail partners
throughout North America. By selling The
Bracelet, retailers such as Kenneth Cole,
Virgin Megastore, Ben Bridge Jewelers and
many others have generated our biggest sales
while taking part in a charitable cause that
makes a difference to millions of lives.
Together we have sold over 900,000 bracelets
with 100% of net proceeds going to HIV/AIDS
related organizations.

entertainers and athletes have donated their
time to appear in the Foundation’s Public
